JAMMU, Nov 8: Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed plans for the expansion of the Chenani-Sudhmahadev segment of National Highway (NH-244), converting it into a 2-lane road with paved shoulders.
In Jammu & Kashmir, the government has initiated the expansion and enhancement of the Chenani-Sudhmahadev segment of National Highway NH-244, converting it into a 2-lane road with paved shoulders. Covering a total length of 16.99 kilometers, this project represents the inaugural phase of its development.
The upgraded highway is poised to provide year-round connectivity, proving to be a game-changer for the local economy and the residents in the area.
